K1 is the temporary space of KANAL - Centre Pompidou, located on the Avenue du Port, opposite the former Citroën garage under conversion. That 1933-1934 garage, designed by Alexis Dumont, Marcel Van Goethem and Maurice-Jacques Ravazé as a “cathedral for cars” with a 21-metre-high showroom, will become the large KANAL museum.
K1 offers two event spaces, of 260 m² on the first floor and 295 m² on the upper floor, behind a glass façade, for parties and receptions by the canal.
