Built on a rock above the Lomme valley, Mirwart castle grew from an 11th-century fortress. Between 1706 and 1734 it acquired its present look as a country residence, with its U-shaped plan and four cylindrical towers. Provincial property from 1951, then long abandoned, it was restored by a Dutch owner.
It now houses a hotel, a gourmet restaurant, a banquet hall, several conference rooms and a spa: everything needed for seminars, weddings and Ardennes stays.
